  1. With both my children I lost my mucus plug while I was in active labor. It's different for everyone you could  still be pregnant for another couple of weeks.

  2. I lost some at 36 weeks. I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and I've been losing quite a bit of it suddenly, but I'm still not in labor. Mucus Plug isn't a reliable sign of anything, unfortunately.

  3. I lost my muscuse plug at 36 weeks and had my daughter three weeks later, its not an accurate reading as to when you will go into labor, everyone who had there baby around the same time I did lost theres weeks before they went into labor, all within three weeks, just start getting ready because your baby should be here soon && enjoy her as much as you can, now my daughter is one and everyyyywhere

  4. You could go into labour tonight, or in three weeks. I lost mine at 38 weeks and still had to be induced.......just be prepared and if you think you are having contractions and they are painful and getting more regular to call the hospital to let the midwives know you might be in labour, they might tell you to come in an be assessed.

With the mucus plug, sometimes you can have lots come out and your cervix will continue to make more until labour and delivery.....nothing is a guarantee with pregnancy.

  5. I don't remember losing mine with first 2 pregnancies.  During 3rd pregnancy I lost mine the evening before I went into labor.  But you are correct, it can happen weeks before labor comes.  Good luck and congratulations on your newest addition. : )

  6. it was about 3 weeks, from when I lost my plug to when I had my daughter... but I was also induced... so could have been longer!!

  7. I lost mine and went into labor an hour later.

  8. I'm 38 weeks and still haven't lost mine. At least not that I know of because sometimes it happens without notice, and it regenerates over the weeks remaining of pregnancy. My midwife said the mucus plug is not a good indicator of when you are going to go into labor, unless there is a lot of blood.

  9. You might have a week to four depending on your body, that baby and, believe it or not the changes in the moon cycle. Since we are over the full moon, that is the least of your worries. No not everyone goes into labor immediately, but it is my experience that when your plug falls out, your water is not far behind to break...

    GOOD LUCK!!!

  10. I lost mine about 4 hours before my water broke.
