I had my scan today, they told me i am having a little girl as they can't see any little willy between the legs. Im over the moon but id be over the moon if it was a boy anyway, its my first child so im not fussed on what i have just healthy and happy, however I wanna start buying clothes for my daughter but, everyone i speak to seems to have a 'friend' who was told they were having a boy or a girl but then on the day it was the opposite. If everyone has a friend that that has happened too, surely the scan cant be that accurate because at least 10 people i have spoken to have said this to me now! Any views please so i can start buying more personalised stuff now??

  1. i found out just befor 20 weeks that i was having a boy and they were right but my son also had his legs wide open when they did the scan so we could clearly see it was a boy i dont know anyone who was told the wrong s*x so i am sure your having a girl!!!

  2. hi hunny congrats

my first was a boy but i didnt find out and my nd was a girl and i found out through 4d scan... was cooll... anyway iwas 24 weeks preg when i had it done and they confirmed it was a girl as there was no sign of any lil boy parts... i was a lil sceptical at first as i was told the same story you were

i still went and bought pink clothes and even a pink buggy ... was funny cse i tried not tellin anyone wat i was havin but it was kinda obvious...

just trust your instinct and if you think there could be a chance of a boy just buy white creams and lemon.... they go for both sexes

    best of luk hunny

  3. The thing with the tech telling you that it's a girl, is that they're saying it based on the fact that they can't see boy parts. These boy parts could be hiding out...

I don't, personally, know anyone who this has happened to. Myself included.
