How accurate is using a laser bore sighter on a muzzleloader ?

they are designed to give you a headstart in sighting in you rifle . . . there is no substitute for firing the gun and actually seeing what the results are, you'd be a fool not to shoot it before the hunt.. A lot of mfgs use them to sight in their pre-scoped guns at the factory without firing any rounds . . . and you often see people state that the accuracy of their gun was 1/2 MOA right out of the box. I know i'd use one to sight in a muzzleloader, especially a muzzleloader. It save bunches of loading time.

Just as accurate as the user, although unless you are mounting a scope there is no reason for it.

Just remember that muzzleloaders have different ballistics from CF rifles due to heavier bullets and lower velocities.
