I've had a fairly good Swiss watch for 20 years, that keeps time to a second a month.  That's good enough for almost anything.

I no longer wear a wrist watch.

My cell phone was certainly within a second.  But i got rid of my cell as well.

My PDA syncs to standard time over the internet.  It's good to about 30 milliseconds.

So, when someone asks me what time it is, i say, "oh about three".

Within less than 5 seconds-- that's close enough for me-- and close enough to setup my computer driven telescope.
