How am I to delete sites visited through web search engine?

Go to tools, internet options, and delete the history.  Afterwards, make it so that the days allowed to save your history is set to zero.

Then google search a program called "ccleaner" and it'll clean everything for you.

1. delete History of your web explorer.

2. If using IE, go to Tools-->Internet Options, click on Content tab, click on Auto complete Button, Click on Clear Form Button. This will delete all list items in the explorer.

You can delete the visited websites by going to tools in the Internet Explorer page. Then click on Internet options. Then find Temporary Internet files and click on delete cookies.
