How am i able to promote an eco-friendly website to other people?(included website)?

I have just created an eco-friendly website(http://profiles.friendster.com/user.php).

I created this website because i want to promote recycling,reusing and reducing to others.I would like to let other people know more about the earth.

But,the problem is.....i would like to promote this website to other people,but how?

I suppose Google and other search engines will pick it up.
