How am i able to sleep better when im takin all the pills to help me sleep but theyre not helping?

  1. Most of these answers are great. The thing is, if you can't sleep, you're not tired enough. Get alot of exercise thru out the day. Climb stairs instead of elevators. Park your car and walk to the mailbox after work. Walk the dog, don't put him on the run. Take an extra walk after supper. If you find that you still can't sleep. Do 50 push ups and 50 sit ups-you'll get tired. Chamomile tea is good before bed. It calms your system and puts you in the mood for sleep. Take a warm bath and just lay in there for a while-this helps also.


  2. Take magnesium before bed liquid form my dad swears by it he has chronic pain and most the time sleeps on a couch he says nothing makes him sleep better.

  4. stop taking the pills and they make ur brain nerves dry and thays y u cant sleep.

    try few things:

    1. warm oil massage on ur head for minimum of 15 to 20 min before sleep.

    2. try toi engage urself in any brain activity that makes the mind asking for sleep.

    3. take warm milk half hr before sleep with little  bit of turmeric powder( this helps relaxes ur muscles)

    4. try to engage ur self for any physical activity in any time of the day.

    stop taking medicines or tablets for sleep.

  5. Or try a sleep pillow sachet with lavender or take a dab of lavender oil on a tissue and place it under your pillow. This will help relax the body, also a nice blended hot tea before bed may help too. Good Luck

  6. celery juice in the evening, about 15 almonds at night.....exercise for 30 minutes between 6 & 8 pm
