  1. Your using someones else's internet but if they don't put a password on it to stop other people using it thats there fault don't think that's breaking the law .

  2. result i can never find any unlocked lol xx

  3. You're using someone elses wireless broadband.  It is effectively classed as stealing!

  4. lol dial-up probably. that'll be costing you the opposite of free...LOADS!

  5. One of your neighbours probably have wireless and just haven't locked it. It's their fault, and I highly doubt you'd get prosecuted. It's best to get your own service, though.

  6. Don't worry about it, it just means one of your neighbor's was too stupid to password protect their wireless network. In my last apartment I used free wi-fi for an entire year. There's no way for them to know you're using it, and if they didn't want people to use it, they should have protected it.

  7. well your neighbor nextdoor probably has a wireless router and has not added a security option to prevent hackers or people using the network. Your Laptop has connected to the nearest wireless network finding one without a passkey, it connects and you have got internet.

It is technically against the law.

Option 1: Create some cash by opening up a wireless hotspot for friends + others where they have to pay per hour (Note if caught you will be punished)

Option 2: Disconnect and buy your Wireless router and connect. (Easy and no risk of being shot by the police)

  8. Its probably a neighbour, when mine went down and I reconnected, three other non protected ones came up! While mine was down I used theirs free but I didnt keep doing it. Dont think they will catch you though.

  9. if its wireless you may be using your wireless networ connection if you have one. if not then ur using ur neigbours which suggest that they have it unsecured, or maybe you live near an internet cafe or mcdonalds or somewhere with free wireless. go on wireless connections and look at the name of the network, if you recognise it as like a surname from someone on ur street then your usuing their internet. just use that unti you buy your own internet and wireless conection as it isnt really fair to use it without permission.

  10. if you have another computer or laptop, at home, you should run on the same network, so you only pay for one. this way you are not breaking the law. if you don't have 2 or more computers then i don't know!

  11. You are not going to get i trouble with the law, it just means someone/ or a building around you has public wireless internet!

  12. Your getting the signals from someones elses wireless and they oviusly dont have a password! lol

    Go for it!

Theres no way of getting caught!

    Enjoyyyy!! =D
