How am i going to chose my career...? *ADOLESCENT*?

Question

I really love fashion, makeup, hair, skin, nails, clothes, etc but i feel i have so much potential to do better.i mean, my parents want me to become doctor and i know i have the brains and skills for it but i really just love fashion & makeup.

i want people to see that beautiful women can do something more than just modeling but it just not what i like to do. if i chose being a fashion designer, than people are just going to think...that's what i expect a pretty girl just doing hair & makeup, nothing that can save the world cause she doesnt have the brains.

any advice?

I'm going thru the same thing, but what i do is to think about what YOUR good at, what you have prior knowledge with, and something that you'll have a good time doing, not something that you'll ever regret doing. but hey, what do i know? im a guy.

you dont have to start thinking about a career until like the middle of college or end of high school. just chill

To help you decide try taking a few aptitude/personality tests (remember never let them decide what your futures going to be, they are just there to give you an idea of what you will be well suited for).

Maybe try being a journalist or photographer for a fashion mag.

Just get through high school. My mom said she was 27 and still didn't know what she wanted to do. Low and behold she's 52 now (shh don't tell her I told you) and she just found her passion less than 7 years ago. So what you want and what you have a passion for. It'll change over the course of highschool a bit so don't worry.
