I'm a very talented player as what I'm told I played on my freshman team last season and averaged bout 15 points and 8 rebounds. I also led my team in assits bout 4 a game. I'm 6'3 230lbs I play the sf because I have insane range, but I can put the ball on the floor as we (also left handed). But heres the thing my school has a bunch of talent in the backcourt and older but no real sf and idk if i'm varsity material?

  1. I think you should try out for a Power Forward, you sound strong enough to play the 4, and anyone can shoot from the outside, look at Dirk Nowitzki so go to the outside when your team is down. Good Luck

  2. How the h**l would we know?

  3. OMG, you're 6'3 in 10th grade?

    I wish iam that tall. Anyways, to answer your question you should definitely try out for the varsity team. Go and talk to the coach and see what happens.

    Good Luck!

  4. okay; i'm a girl so my advice might not be taken.

    but older doesn't always mean much;

    my eight grade and freshman year

    i over played juniors and seniors;

    you just have to be better then the rest;

    which means eating healthier;

    running and working out alot

    before the season; starting

    before they do; what they do,

    do twice of it... push yourself;

    but good luck =)

  5. practice really, really hard and at tryouts get the choach to notice your skills.

  6. I prefer you configure your game and try to get your point guard skills in. You have Baron Davis physic. Just work hard because pain is nothing but weakness leaving the body.
