How am i gonna take care of my cockatiel???

HI, me and my family are going to go camping for 2 days and im not going to be able to play and give my cockatiel any attention.

SO........ how am i gonna give her attention???

........I dont have money to give a petsitter money to watch my bird

don't worry

just leave on some music when u go and cover them half up so she doesn't get cold

give her fresh water before u go and put new food in the bowel

If  you bird uses a water bottle you can put extra food in the cage. If you leave open water they will bathe, and wash off food in it. It will make the water rancid in just a few hours.

leave it with a relitive or a friend.

Well be sure to leave enouh food in the cage for the 2 days, as well as 2 dishes of water because they may try and knock them over. And keep a tv or radio on so it hears sound to have company.

Just let your friend or one of your family to petsit.But remember you have to give instructions on how to care for it and the vet's phone number in case it gets sick or injured.

If you do not have a friend or can not afford to have your bird looked after, is there a pet shop near you perhaps the one you buy your birds food from.  or Why not take it with you?

I used to take our pet bird on holiday in a caravan for two weeks and it enjoyed it.

But please do not leave it on it's own as anything could happen?????
