  1. 1.) find the biggest jump you are comfortable with... preferably not too steep or poppy for your first few. a wide jump also makes it easier when you are learning.

2.) approach the jump WITH YOUR SKIS PARALLEL and feet slightly more apart than when skiing normally.  as you near the lip, wind your wind your arms and shoulders to the opposite side you plan to spin.  keep your knees bent, and upon takeoff, pop hard.

3.) Initiate your spin AFTER you are in the air.  to do this  swing your arms and upper body into the rotation. and rotate your head ahead of your body, so that your head leads the spin (THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART.)

4.) most people run into problems when spinning because they lose balance in the air. make sure to pitch your body forward upon takeoff as you pop off the lip, so that you stay balanced in the air and dont land backseat.  another crucial tip is to tuck your knees as high as possible once you start your spin. this leaves you in an athletic, balanced position instead of an unsteady pencil-style spin.

5.)  since you are leading your spin with your head, you will be able to spot your landing and control your spin appropriately when you see it (which is alot easier than it sounds)  once you have spun 360, extend your legs and absorb the landing.

** your first few spins are going to suck, so accept it.  but keep trying because soon it will become easier than straight airing! keep doing small 3's until you are comfortable with them and can do them just jumping off tiny bumps in the snow or even jumping of flat ground alone.  work your way up to bigger jumps and try a 540

  2. First find a jump that you are comftorable with. Aproach it and be able to get a reasolable amount of air.

It helps to practice this on snow.

Aproach the jump with your body winded up and when you recach the lip pop as hard as  you can and release your spin as soon as you have reach the lip. look over your shoulder and spot your land

  3. I have seen a blog just recently with all kinds of great snowboarding items like clothing, boots, and gear I also seen free video on there too for skiing and snow boarding it's a must see site just look around it's mixed in all the posts you'll see it it's enlarged text for the free videos,

  4. Since we are starting to go to spring skiing the snow should be just about right for the stunts.  Start with swimming activities, doing various spinning dives so you get used to the rotation.  Keep your eyes open and lead with your nose..

Be comfortable on snow with a complete spin in both directions. If you race  super g or downhill, the amount of air  should be no problem.  Stand tall in each maneuver, to allow more spin in less time.
