  1. she's probably not sleeping properly because shes ready for a bed.

by the time my daughter was 10 months she was managing to climb out of her cot.

i say make the change now.

  2. is she in your bed now or in a crib?

  3. give homeopathic tablets "phenargan"

  4. when she can get out of it, or when she's just started to try to get out of it. also, when she does get her "big girl" bed put a stool there so its easier for her to get up and down

  5. I put my kids in a toddler bed as soon as they were able to get a leg up over the top!!!  They sometimes get out of the toddler bed and walk around for a while but they 'll get the hang of it soon!

  6. Once they try to climb out, it's time for a big girl bed.  I never used a toddler bed, just got a bed.  The bed is bigger than a toddler bed, so there is less chance of falling off if they move around.  My daughter was too big for the crib, so getting a toddler bed wasn't going to give her more space!  You mention that she wakes up three times a night. My daughter did that too and it stopped as soon as I got her a bed (she had just turned 2).  I think that she moved so much that she was banging into the crib sides and waking herself up.  They make guard rails for beds so they don't fall out...they sell them in like the baby section at KMart.
