  1. The hydrabad nizam was very anxious to become independant state and insisted that hydrabad should be the 3rd domination.  He tried to achieve his ambitious desire with the help of kasim razvi of ittehadul muslimeen and its strom troopers, the Razakars.  Meanwhile, the hindus of hydrabad state who were 93% launched the ''join india'' movement. State congress was banned by Nizam.  The communists saved the village people from the attacks of nizam police and razakers.  Before 15th aug. 47, the nizam entered with british to gain time and procure military hardware from difference parts of the world and to smuggle them into hydrabad.  with growing violence by the razakars and the nizam's attempts to get himself independant, the govt of india decided to curb these tendencies by launching a ''police action'' against nizam.   on 13th september, 48 the police action  commenced.  The indian army entered in hydrabad from five directions and took military action and succeeded.  Nizam's forces surrendered.  The merger of Hyderabad with indian union was announced.  it is all by the then home minister and iron man Vallabai patel.
