How and when wil I receive my tax refund?

My 2006 return was audited. I filed it in February of 07. I received a notice -"we changed your account" - from the IRS on 6/30/2008. They've determined that I am indeed due a refund. It says that it could mailed or direct deposited within 2 weeks. Will they go by my request for direct deposit filed with the return that was audited or will they mail a check. This year I just went with the mail option because I knew I wouldn't be receiving anything back. (It also says that I could have received it by now)

Two weeks from 6/30 isn't here yet.  Relax.

You'll most likely get a check in the mail.
