  1. Children who took their 11+ where I am (West Midlands) got the results around April and received them through the post.

    SATs results were sent to schools via the internet on July 15th. They would then be sent to parents. Publication of overall results for schools will be published in November.


  2. I'm not sure I really understand this question. SATS and the 11+ are separate tests. Every child has to take SATS tests, but the 11+ is taken to try for a place in a selective (Grammar) school and is voluntary.  This is taken in year 6.  The system only operates in certain counties, Kent being one of them.
