How and where can I get a working visa so I can work in Europe

I am 19 and I am going to Europe and I was wondering how and where can I get a working visa. I live in USA, and I'm thinking of going for 2 to 3 months on my own.

Apply for work in a European company and when accepted, request for the contract of hiring and present this in the embassy of the country where the company is located.
