How and where can I join up to help catch Internet predators?

Question

To Catch a Predator has just aired in the UK and I was wondering if anyone knew if there were any organizations in the UK where I could help catch/name and shame internet predators? IS it possible for civilians to do this or is it reserved for specially trained individuals?

i am taking an educated guess and say its a specialised role, in fact i am almost certain.

the reason being that the police are driving out the practise in the UK, so therefore a. they wouldn't need civil watchers so to speak

b. the police don't need persons who aren't vetted or bound to any organisation affiliated to the police as they see this as a trigger for community violence ( a national police directive to reduce)
