How and where do you get an acting agent in chicago or at all?

i really need an acting coach really bad and i live in chicago and i dont think they have any please answer

An agent and an acting coach are two different things.  They have lots of both in Chicago. But what I think you need is help from your parents who have to sign for anything you do professionally until you are 18.  You need to be very talented, photogenic, have lots of experience acting in plays and films and have taken acting classes. Your parents know how to use the yellow pages to help you.

That is right, an acting coach or teacher is not the same as an agent. Agencies that represent actors would be searchable online.

For acting schools or teachers I recommend Second City's acting program and Piven Theater's acting programs. They are both well known and have provided many famous people with a great start.
