  1. You must be doing an NVQ or something :) Have u thought about buying a study guide? When i did NVQ 3 I brought one from waterstones and it helped so much when answering these sorts of questions. Waterstones has loads of great educational resource books-and amazon.co.uk!

    Practitioners may feel:

-Grief when child they have cared for a long time leaves.

-Grief if child in care dies or is badly injured!

-Depression/anxiety if they do not get on with a child, if child is not progressing etc

    -Sense of failure-see above!

-Anxiety-meeting with parents esp if you have to tell them bad news!

-Anxiety/grief-referring a child to social care services.

    Support:

    -Lead Practitioner

    -Local Education Authority

    -Support advisors

    -other colleagues

    Positives:

-Happy/joy when child achieves, has good news etc.

-Overwhelmed: when child hugs you or buys you a gift-even more when they make it!
