How and why should Canada reform its immigration policies?

They should allow "true" US citizens to move there whenever they want to to esacpe from overpopulation when Mexican/US borders are opened.

Many assume that all immigrants are Mexicans, they are not. There are many countries that go to Canada to get Canadian Citizenship and then come over the border to US. It is an easier route to take.

They should change their policies so that US citizens can acquire dual citizenship easily without prior residency requirements! I intend to permanently relocate to Canada regardless! You would think they would welcome Americans with open arms! Instead they place barriers in the way! I know they want younger people to fill the labor gaps, but still if your already established I would imagine this to be a desirable factor!
