China has nothing to do with Russia on georgia issue. Anyway, if Georgia people want their independence, they have to fight for their own. That is their human right.

Not as annoyed as Georgia and Russia are with each other. If I were you I'd be more worried about another cold war. Let's hope Bush stays neutral and doesn't side with Georgia too strongly or Putin may start wondering where to aim his long range missiles!

China knows the score, and wont be too bothered, in fact I'd bet Russia actually donated some funds to ensure the ceremony was so good, the world wouldn't pay much attention to the crisis.

I don't think it is raining on their parade, I for one have not seen the Games any more or any less then i have in the past. I watch the events I want to watch and don't watch the others. They should be annoyed by the other things that are raining on their parade. People will remember the Chinese games for what happens at the games not for what. Russia does to Georgia.

Hopefully enough so that the blow the h**l out of each other and leave the rest of the world to get on with it. Both russia and china have a despicable attitude towards human rights both past and present.

Personally i think the olympics should never have been hosted by the chinese.
