I've got a job interview, but I have not got a suit that exactly matches my trouser; the suit coat I have slightly different shade of brown. In the shops, they do not have my size so I cant buy a new one. How appropriate is it to wear what I go? That is, a suit anmd trouser which dont precisely match? Thanks.

  1. It depends what sort of job it is. If it's a job in tescos or something, i suggest you ditch the jacket and just wear a tie. If it's a big job, I don't think you will get the job in a different coloured suit.

  2. depends on hw it suits u or ur personality....

  3. You should not wear different shades of brown. In that case it would be better to wear beige trousers and the brown jacket and brown polished shoes and a white shirt and a tie... x*x The tie should be beige or brown or beige with brown.. to match your other outfit. x*x

  4. If the jacket and trousers do not match then, it's not a suit–it’s a jacket and trouser combination (combo for short). If it's all you have then it is permissible, but only just, and, you should start hunting for a suit (that matches) to remedy this.

  5. A suit is jacket and trousers.  So shops don't have your size - how very odd.  Don't see any rason why you should not wear a jacket and trousers that do not match but then I can't see it.  You need to ask someone who can actually see you in it.

  6. Not recommended but if it's all you have ...

  7. the worst is when they are slightly different.

    better find lighter colored trousers.

if not just go with jeans and the jacket or trousers and shirt + tie (or shirt and V neck jumper).

probably most important is to look neat and relaxed, don't worry too much and definitely: wear a warm SMILE!

    good luck!
