    For example:

    1.  To produce hydrochloric acid HCl, one method is using hydrogen H2 and chlorine Cl2:

    H2  +  Cl2   --->  2 HCl

    2.  To produce acetic acid CH3COOH (or C2H4O2), in industry, one method is using ethanol C2H5OH (or C2H6O):

    C2H6O  +  O2   ---->  C2H4O2  +  H2O
