  1. If what you're trying to ask is if there is any animosity against the US in Peru, the answer is NO. Americans are welcomed in Peru and, together with Brazilians, form the bulk of tourism to Peru.


  2. We love americans, they are easygoing and friendly. Few people in the past had a tendency to talk negatively about the yankees. Nowadays we have good relatioships and have free trade agreement to export natural food to USA.

    Somehow due the publicity by means of movies and the tv, many peruvians adopted many influences and customs from the americans especially in big cities like Lima for instance: halloween, demolition, parties, the Mc donalds, the rock and roll, the arts ingeneral , the fashion, even now there is a tendency to leave a 10% tip in restaurants or things like that. On the other hand i think the tendency of americans are to learn spanish, to dance salsa or cumbia and maybe be more relaxed in any sense.
