How are Burger king fries/chips made?

Does anybody know how burger king fries are made, what oil do they use, which type of potatoes do they use and how do the get the crispy texture on them?

  1. They prefer to use Northern Idaho potatoes and the cook them in canola oil.  As for the crispy batter I believe it is a trade secret.

  3. I work there and we use a speical kinda oil , old potatoes, and a secret something in the oil u shouldent know about or ull stop buying your food. It grosses me out so much im quiting today to go work at longhorn.
