  1. General Electric Company started an insurance company called General Electric Insurance some years ago.  

    General Electric Insurance company changed its name two years ago to Genworth Insurance.  They didn't say is it was a sale of the insurance company to another entity or just a change of name -- anyway, it is the same insurance company as before.
