  1. They are called Flat Mounts.

    There are also tilt mounts, which mount to the wall just like that, but can tilt up and down. Some can tilt to the right and left.

    Lastly there are motion mounts which can actually move out from the wall and move side to side.

    You can find them at most places that sell TVs including, tigerdirect, walmart, best buy, and circuit city. For small tvs  they can be as cheap as 25 dollars, but for most larger tvs they run about 45-90. Motion mounts can cost several hundred.

  3. You have to buy a bracket that will s***w on to the wall and then just put you HDTV on the bracket. I think the brackets run around 300$ but i'm not for sure.

  4. they are mounted using wall mount, brackets are usually the flatter ones. but there are other mounts like swivels that allow you to turn the tv.
