oh thats right, the captain/vice-captain are giving everyone corkys - they cant win games on their own merit, they gotta disable their opponents.

  1. Because they have good players and those good players are playing good.... Usually means winning..... It's not rocket science.

It may be a bit hard to understand for you though, Considering you think Geelong is playing North this week.

    =O

  2. its well known the hawks spike the opponents water bottles with fantasy on game day

  3. i agree hawks suck for ever  i hate their coulours

  4. for us non AFL people what is a corkys...... and in just about any sport any team can beat any team on any given day.... most of the time the best team wins but there are times that they don't.......

  5. lol @ Rogue  and your next on the hit list. All teams have their share of mongrels Rogue including Collingwood, one of thems returning this week i believe ... or is it two of them ?

The hawks got there act together last season Rogue and this season have just continued on with it.

We now have a pretty good forward line and even though Franklin didn't fire last week kicking 1.7 Roughnut kicked 5 and Rioli was as usual always dangerous.

Throw in the likes of Williams, who was out last season with an injury and Tim Boyle to return as well as Dew getting back from Injury it's not a bad forward line at all, and most teams will struggle to match the tall forwards as well as the crumbers. And if like last week one doesn't fire another one will.

The young guys that have now been in the system the last 2 - 3 years who rotate through the mid field are now playing a good style of football which allows Hodge to rotate from the midfield and backline and takes the added pressure off guys like Mitchell and Sewell

  6. trust me the runs over. Their superstar franklin is out this weekend and hawks will get run over at home.

  7. What's wrong with giving a corky? In Sydney we just punch the prick out if he is getting the better of us.........or field an extra player.

  8. No one has found a way to consistently stop the all their midfielders/defenders eg Mitchell, Sewell, Young, Bateman, Guerra, Crawford, Osborne...

Once it gets to the forward line they have to stop Franklin, Williams, Rioli, Roughead

  9. Its called Luck..

and a person named Lance Franklin

  10. the chicken hawks will come crashing down to earth and when they do the power will clean them up.

  11. Hmm nice tempting bait

    Sorry Rogue no bite

  12. HA,HA,HA,HA  Jealousy

  13. I think it's just pure luck, I'm praying for a Bulldogs & Hawthorn grand final.

  14. They may of disabled a couple of players(accidently....hmmm), but they are also demoralising teams with sheer brilliance.

What they did to the Lions a couple of weeks back was awesome. Croad managed to keep our leviathon Mr Brown virtually shut down for the whole game, that does NOT happen often. The rest of the team played a fantastic game   * cough.... gag ....YAK* cannot believe i just said that.

  15. We are the best, That's just it.

  16. Knowing my luck its probably because I had a bet that they wouldn't finish higher than the Eagles this year I may as well pay up now.

  17. Great Midfiled and Forwars line, and Now that Croad is back the back line looks to be better as well

  18. If thats what they are doing then it's a bit unfair! Maybe they also get an advantage by playing in Tasmania; we know how upset Mark Thompson was at having to play the Hawks in Launceston last season and how crabby he was when the Hawks beat the Cats there! I can remember him having a big sook about it. Seriously, the Hawks are doing well...

  19. sorry but hawthorne just whips anyone (except geelong maybe)

  20. Haha.. You crack me up Rogue...

If Hawks were playing Swans this week I'ld be worried bout their "corky" business..

I wish you luck this weekend!

  21. Rogue,

I picked your Pies to win. I hope your side doesn't stuff up my picks.

  22. Now, now , come on rogue, the hawks are playing good footy, still not entirely convinced though, they beat us but not convincingly like geelong will.

they have some exciting players and things seem to be going their way at the moment.
