How are ONE and BODY distinguished?

What's the difference between 'Someone and Somebody' or 'Anyone and Anybody' or 'Everyone or Everybody'?

Is there a rule?

I often watch American movies, I think actors seem to use BODYs more.

Can my guess be thought probably true?

  1. In general -body is more formal than -one.

  2. Maybe ONE came about as a slang phrase for easier sentences?

Just like in the old days, everyone would speak like

    "You are very welcome"

But in this day and age

    "You're very welcome"

Is a much more common expression.

Just an idea, i don't really know.
