How are PDA's used in every day business?

i need help doing a project and i am haveing truble searching how they are used. s if any has one and knoes some good uses that have to do with anything in the business world let me know pls.

I think you are meaning a smartphone.  Not too many people have just a PDA anymore.  Seriously, this list is really long but i'll try.  Let look at the obvious of having several email accounts right on your phone.  Then to have internet to look up anything you might need.  You have a calendar for your appointments, contacts for your business cards (they hold so much more than a name and phone number... fax, email addy, company name, title, address, etc.) Most have have a camera so you can take pics.  This has many applications.  Real estate, construction, trucking, etc.  Most of these can also open attachements on email.  Most can be used as a modem for a laptop.  And in case you forgot, its a phone too.
