How are Pringles potato crisps made?

Question

Like for one how are ALL the chips the same consistent size? Like potatoes come in all shapes and sizes and well I can't even have french fries the same size and shape when I cut up potatoes.

Pringles and most "Baked chips" are made from a dough made of cooked potatoes...then processed and cut into uniformed shapes.

Potatoes are mashed, flattened and pressed into the shape and then baked. Kind of like how paper is made.
