How are YOU an under dog?

I'm doing a thesis mainly describing how everyone is an under dog in one way or another. In what way are you an under dog?

I am an "under dog" in that I am younger than my family and family's friends. I will be even more of an under dog when I get to high school (freshman =]) and as a beginner, I am also an under dog on sports teams. Everyone IS an under dog in one way or another. What a smart idea to research!

I live with to brilliant people. They are well educated, employed, and have lived together for over 15 years as roommates. I came into the picture 5 years ago as a partner of one of them. I have always felt as a third wheel and I guess I have felt inferior. You can paint a pretty goo picture yourself of what it is like.... Due to meeting them I did continue my education which was something I never thought I would do. Possibly I've always been my own under-dog, keeping myself down.
