How are all of these ladies using the computer from their kitchens?

I have a computer and monitor in my kitchen but it goes with the microscope.  I like getting only pink tech stuff just for fun.  The PC in the kitchen even has Hello Kitty pink sequins.

I guess that's only done in kitchens built for show and aren't actually used to prepare food. That's because for me, there's no way I would use a computer in the kitchen. Kitchens get food spills and grease splatters everywhere and that would mess up the computer. Then there's dust and grease that can be sucked into the fans and cause the computers to become overheated, especially in a place that is on average the warmest room in the house. No, I like the cleaner and quieter fourth bedroom/home office better for my computer.

Stoves must come equipped with computers now.  Or maybe the washing machine.

The first computer we had in this house was in the kitchen actually because there wasn't another good place for it, so my dad and I as well as my mom had to use it in the kitchen.  We all use laptops now since it got fried in a huge thunderstorm we had about 5 years ago.

It's really funny now that I think about it.  My mom is usually in the kitchen when she uses her laptop.

Finished up in the kitchen so I'm sitting here in the dining room on my lap top.  It doesn't take all day long to cook and wash up the dishes.  Especially when you got that rhythm going.

First, you take a laptop with a wireless card.  Then you set up a wireless router.  Then you configure the wireless ethernet on the laptop to use said router.  Voila, access from the kitchen, bathroom, whatever.  Although I do think a computer in the bathroom is a bit much...
