i have been ttc only for 5months now but i have been reading a lot of questions of women who are struggling and have been doing for years...but i think we have an answer!! i think we all need to quit work, start smoking and drinking and get on every beneift coming our way...i went into town today and just saw a group of 'scallys/chavs' hanging around a beer garden with their babies in prams and with dogs, whilst drinking! i am 21 and these 'kids' seemed only a few years younger than me but i was just appaled!! they couldnt be parents surely!!, my cousins are exaclty the same and have had babies so they could get at the top of their list for a council house! i dont understand how these yound adults still dont have a care in the world and they have children who are looking up to them, so i am getting confused, are we doing something wrong which is making it hard to conceive do we have too much love to give?? im sorry i just wanted a rant aswell! lol

  1. tell me bout it hunni, im nearlly 21 myself (sept) and me and my partner have ttc #1 for 8 months now, we both work very hard, full time, and have just bought our OWN home (which we could only afford by my leaving university, i was doing an english degree). niether of us claim any benfits, and have never asked for anything  and still we have had no joy.i agree with you hun, lets quit work and hang around parks in hoods and we will be there in no time.the only hope we have is that wen we do have our babies, they will be loved and cared for that much better and will have a better quality of life.i wish you all the best xxxxxx

  2. you've only just started tryin 5 months isn't long and besides you want a baby not your partner so that's quite deceitful isn't it? i know this because of a previous question you posted, also you already have a son so you must of been a young mother yourself.

my partner and i have been together 7 years and we are 21 we have a 2 1/2 year old daughter, yes it makes me mad that there are so many c**p chavvy mothers, but it also makes me mad that the good ones are painted with the same brush.

i agree with you but i feel more sorry for the married couples who have lots of money and stability and aren't blessed with what they deserve.

As a young mother myself i can understand when i get dirty looks from older women who are ttc, i do sympathise with them.

its just a shame that we have to all be treated like jobless, council estate scum.

EDIT- sorry but i answered a question you posted a few weeks back saying that your partner DIDNT want to try for another and according to this question you've been trying for 5 months. If you do your maths then you can figure out why i wrote what i did.

  3. I totally agree with you.

Ok I am 17 and have a  4 month old, I did not TTC, but to me what happens happens.

I don't get the sort of people who have kid after kid to get a council house and claim yet more benefits! I only get child benefit (as do all mothers) and I have a part time job and go to college, I live with my grandparent, I am on the council waiting list, but I am waiting, not like chavs who as soon as they are pregnant get their parents to write letters so they can get a flat or house on an estate.

I hate when I see parents drinking when they have babies, it makes me want to explode with rage! You should never drink around a baby. Dogs aren't so bad, some people assume you should kick all your pets out just because you are having a baby, I think that is wrong (Studies show kids who have been brough up around animals are healthier then kids who have not).

I saw a girl the other day, looked around 15 and also looked 8 month pregnant, she had a *** in one hand and a can of stella in the other, how disgusting, could you imagine what would be happeneing to that poor baby!

I know a girl who is 15, has a month old baby and goes out every saturday and friday night to get pissed, what annoys me is she keeps ringing me asking if I want to, I say no, I would rather stay at home cuddling my baby!

You should have a baby knowing that you will care and love them, not to get benefits and a council house. Them sort of people will raise kids to be just like them, no wonder there is so much violence now a days.

I recon soon it will be normal to see 13 year olds having babys. YUK.

I might be young myself, but I actually care for my daughter, and I think I can compare to a mother who is in her 30s.

  4. Hi it took me a while to fall just stay postive and just don't think about it too much and it will happen good luck :)

  5. I totally understand where you are comin from! I am ttc also and have been for 8 months, I live in a "poor" area and its full of kids to those types of families. Children with several siblings with different fathers. I am in a long term relationship, both have full time jobs etc and only want one child, not much to ask for is it?! I wish you good luck and baby dust and lets hope we both succeed soon xx

  6. it took me 6month to concieve

it takes most people around 6month to concieve so hopefully next month will be your lucky month :)

try not to try to get pregnant and just enjoy having s*x, thats what i did and i got pregnant staright away :)
