How are black people treated in Dubai

Ive been pre-positioned by my present company in south africa to work in Dubai for 6 months. I haven't made any decisions yet but the money is tempting. And I hear its a very beautiful place.

So how are black people treated in Dubai? Whats the lifestyle like? How different is it from the "traditional" Western life. Pros and Cons?

i say u should accept your offer because Dubai is a beautiful and an exciting city to live in. as for your question..black people are treated like any other person in the city. they are good people and they don't like to discriminate. though its a great place to live in but you will have to bare the weather it is really hot in there..enjoy your stay!

Dubai is a cosmopolitan city.  Every possible nationality and color is here.  If you have a chance to come, you should.  There's nightlife, shopping, cultural activities, seedy activities, sun, sea and air conditioning.  The lifestyle is pretty much work, go home, get up, work, go home, get up.  Pretty much like the west except the novelty of the place adds excitement.  In Dubai, it is a close to traditional western life as can be as they razed most of their past heritage, what they had that is.  Pros, it's hot.  Cons, also it's hot.  Take the opportunity.

Racism is very hard to apply in Dubai, because it is a muslim country. However, the booming agglomerated life there might bring you to some situations where you would feel uncomfortable, but a lot more rare than that could happen in Europe.

And the money is very good there!

We don't have any racism here in the UAE, ur welcome to come, the only thing is the weather cause it tend to be really hot in the summer.
