how many and what kind of atoms or elements make up a cell?, i can't find it in my science book !

  1. It's not really possible to say exactly how many atoms make up a cell.  But some of the elements that are critical are:

    I think these actually make up cells:

    Oxygen

    Hydrogen

    Carbon

    Nitrogen

    Sulfur

    Phosphorus

    Then you have things crucial for cell survival:

    Chloride

    Sodium

    Potassium

    Calcium

    Magnesium

    Iron

    Iodine
