Does a put from the fringe counts in the putting stats or it's only the shots that are played on the green?

  1. A "putt" is deemed as any stroke taken from the green.

Using a putter from the fringe is not a putt.

Using a wedge on the green is a putt.

Putts are then averaged out based on the basis of both "per round" and "per hole".

  2. You dont have to CHIP!! GOOGIE and basically you can putt from the fringe and make them all day and have zero Putts.haha

  3. Putting statistics are based solely on the number of total putts taken when the ball is on the green except that if a ball rolls off the green and the player must chip, that doesnt count  as a putt.
