This is for my AP Government homework, and I haven't been able to find any helpful information on it yet. I need to know how the selection of delegates differs between the Democratic and Republican parties. Any help would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

  1. In brief, there isn't much difference at least not large enough between Republicans and Democrats processes. According to my understanding, each congressional district in the country gets a delegate and he or she votes for the candidate that wins that district or at least they are supposed or expected to. The party workers in that district get together and select that delegate.

More the populous a state is, the more delegates it gets.
