  1. They contain natural sugars. Many people mistake that as artificial sugar because it is sweet. Almost every one has set their instincts to think that every thing that's sweet must have tons of sugar in it! But, it doesn't because even if there's sugar in 1 large Golden Delicious apple, the nutrients over ride it, thus making you consume something that's healthier than it is bad for you!!! ^_-

  2. i googled this and found the best answer from a similar question, written by mqudee:

"Fruit contains fructose, a type of suger, as well as a lot of fibers. Sweets contain refined sugar - and no fibers at all.

Fructose is not exactly good for you, just not as bad as refined sugar. And the fibers are good for you, of course.

In a normal balanced diet (not carb-reduced), you should get about 600 grams (1,3 pound) of fruits and vegetables a day - however, no more than about 150 grams (5 ounces) of this should be fruit.

So the fruits are better for you than sweets, but like all other healthy things, it's not good for you in large quantities."

  3. Fruit contains  natural sugar called fructose.  Fructose is used more readily by your body than table sugar which has been refined meaning all the good stuff that was in it has been removed.

There is a difference in sugars.  Honey is natural too, but most don't use it to sweeten foods.  Your body can use these natural sugars so much better than any artificial sweetener. Plus an apple has fiber which is good for you as well because it helps to fill you up not to mention all of the vitamins and minerals fruits contains.

  4. Because fruits are loaded with vitamins and minerals and fiber also the sugar is all natural. Your body burns off natural sugar faster then artificial sugar. Also your body needs sugar and the best kind of sugar for you would be the natural sugar found in fruits. So that is healthy and it does make sence.

  5. i'm sorry but you might be reffering to natural sugar the one your thinking of are in the oils section and plus they have nutrients that will help you become healthy and vitamins

  6. Because it's natural sugar, not the processed stuff you find in everything.  Anything that ends in -ose like fructose and sucrose are bad sugars.  That includes high fructose corn syrup that sweetens just about everything from juices to things you wouldn't even think would have sugar in them.

  7. its different because fruit has natural sugar that can be broken down inside your stomach

    real sugar is different

    its a little confusing

  8. Its healthy (er..healthier) because the sugar found in fruit isn't high fructose c**p that is loaded into other foods.  The sugar is naturally occuring, and fruit (especially apples) contains fiber..and fiber helps to slow down the digestion of sugars..so you get constant energy instead of a "flash in the pan" dramatic energy burst then a crash.  Fruit is also packed with vitamins and minerals, something that just plain sugary junk doesn't offer. So in short...fiber, vitamins, minerals, low in calories so it fills you up.

  9. It's, like, natural sugars or something.

And it also has a bunch of vitamins and things

    that balance out the sugar.

  10. It also has a lot of nutrients and fiber.  Eaten in moderation, fruits are very heathy.  Also, when compared to other sweets, fruit is a better choice.

  11. its natural sugar, the kind of sugar that is bad for you is processed. things that have -ose in them. (fructose, sucrose)

  12. it also has fiber, vitamins and nutrients.

  13. its natural sugar its different

and they dont have much fat and there are nutrients in them

and if you eat an apple or something the sweetness will might satisfy your craving and make you less likely to eat a donut or something

  14. it's not refined sugar like in a soda.  It's fruit sugar and contains many more nutrients and micronutrients which are beneficial to your body.
