How are gas meters read?

When you get the bill from the gas company do they include the decimal point in their readings or just the whole numbers

  1. they count in whole numbers, but not include decimal point, BECAUSE decimal count increase the complexity of caculation of bill. they cumulate the decimal next time. It doesn't arouse any loss.
