How are gas prices quoted in canada?

for example, when i see the gas stations, the price of gas is usually at about 110 or so. what does this stand for, 110 what? thanks

  1. The gas prices in Canada are related to the

    cost per Litre of gas. Where it takes aprox

    3.8 Litres to make 1 U.S gallon.

    So if you saw gas at a Canadian gas bar

    selling for $1.10 per Litre it would be the same

    as paying $4.18 for a U.S Gallon.

    P:S The current price of regular gas in Toronto,

    Canada is $1.34 per litre or $5.09 for a U.S Gallon.
