Basically, a slab of glass is ground to a rough lens shape using progressively smaller grades of an abrasive that is harder than glass. It is then polished so that the surface is clear using a fine abrasive powder on a medium of pitch or impregnated onto paper.

actually lenses are mostly made of plastic they take the size of humans eye balls and make the size of the eye ball with help of plastic and water i know about this only this much
