  1. 1 mile timing is good.

2 miles you can try n improve.

In all, i would say its pretty good.

  2. ...

On all three counts, I think you know you are doing pretty well.  I suspect you enjoy running, too!

Now what?  Your training pace, if it's something you maintain over 6 miles or more, indicates you have a high level of comfort in running fairly quickly over some distance.

Likely, with continued interval and speed training, you will get your one-mile time down significantly.

And right now you can probably do a two-mile a lot closer to ten minutes than you think.

Presuming you have a year or more left in high school, now would be a good time to prepare for the upcoming cross country season.  Your speed and endurance are already there for you to expect to do well!

  3. Those are excellent times. The person who said you are slowing down the second mile is *pauses...runs for the dictionary*  obviously full of lack of experience and the knowledge and understanding derived from experience. You don't just double your mile time and say that the result should be your two mile time. For a 4:41 mile runner, 10:34 is about perfect.

    Keep up the good work!

  4. Very good.

    im assuming you do track?

  5. whoa yeah thats really good

  6. very good, you would do very well in my league, the fastest boy runs around a 10:30 and 4:40. keep up the running! GOOD LUCK!!!

  7. Excellent 1 mile.  You are slowing down quit a bit the second mile but it is still a great time.
