Instant Racing is a cartoon replay of an acutual archived race at a video betting system.

Does it use the same parimutuel odds as the archival race?

  1. Instant racing uses the actual video replay of a race previously run under authorized racing jurisdiction rules and regulations (no cartoons).

When a bettor indicates the amount to be wagered, the system selects an archived race and displays graphically several past performance statistics that were available to the public on the day the race was run.  The bettor selects 3 runners, starts the race with the ability to watch the complete race or final stretch, and results and prices are displayed.

The odds from the day of the actual race are not included in the process.  Each terminal is betting a different race, so there are no odds fluctuations to measure while determining the 3 runners to bet.
