How are people like famliy?

I'm doing a school project but I'm having a difficult time. We need to say how people in the military, people in jobs, and students in school are like family. Please help me. I would appreciate it so much.

They help each other out when they hardly know each other really. Wouldn't you help a new kid in school? Two people in the military and at work are pretty much the same way, most of the time.

When working with a group of people or spending a lot of time with people who are not your family, you have to think about the fact that sometimes these people spend more time with you than your family. As for military..it is essential that these people are close and look out for each other. When you spend as much time as you do with these people in school, work or the military, you need to be able to trust them and them trust you to make things work and run smoothly. The end result when there is success is a bond with those people.
