  1. Exactly how did dinosaurs make petrochemicals on Earth?  

    The saying that oil is the remains of dinosaur fat is just a joke.  It is more likely the remains of the fatty envelopes of bacteria and algae and likely is much older than the dinosaurs.    

    Titan's moon has petrochemicals because it has methane, a gas which is relatively common in the solar system and so does not need an "organic" origin.  It may be that some of the higher hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane etc are present there as well.  Some of these could be liquid under Titan conditions.


  2. I wasn't aware petrochems had been confirmed on Titan.

    Were dinosaurs proved never to have existed there?
