How are pharmaceuticals and pathology similar??

Basically, I wanted to know so I can compare my hospital placement with the one I want in Boots.

  1. Similar -- maybe.

    Pharmaceuticals (pharmacology) is the study of durgs and medicines.  Pathology of the study of diseases.  Obviously, there IS a relationship.

    One who studies durgs, nediciens, dna related interactions is going to need a stronger background in chem,istry.  One who studies patholgy is going to need a stronger background in biology.
