Say if it was the last game of the series, and a team started a new series the next day. How do they go about making up that game?

    Another option is that postponed games are often played as a double-header on the next day when the team usually has a single day game or night game.

    Especially in Major League Baseball, split-doubleheaders are often common involving made-up baseball games. Split doubleheaders are two games played but not concurrently....the second game usually takes place about 3-4 hours after the first ballgame ends.

  3. Depends on how much time is left in the season. If those two teams are to meet again later in the year, they might play on a near off day or have a double header. Sometimes, and its rare, they arent made up at all.
