Especially in Major League Baseball, split-doubleheaders are often common involving made-up baseball games. Split doubleheaders are two games played but not concurrently....the second game usually takes place about 3-4 hours after the first ballgame ends.

Depends on how much time is left in the season. If those two teams are to meet again later in the year, they might play on a near off day or have a double header. Sometimes, and its rare, they arent made up at all.
