How are rising gas prices affecting you?

Considering I'm at the top of the pay scale at my job, and I don't plan on leaving any time soon.  The gas prices are hurting me tremendously.

We don't have buses, trains, carpools, etc. We do have 1 taxi.  Everything here is very rural.  I live in the country.  The nearest gas station for me is 9 miles away.  My job is 22 miles from home.  

I've thought about borrowing a horse and buggy from the Amish that live next door to me.
